Welcome
Meet Andrea
My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and understanding.

I recognize how challenging it can be to rebuild your life after experiencing coercive control.
When you choose to work with me, you’ll find a space where your story is honoured with respect and without judgement.
Here, you are free to show up as your true self, exhale, and speak openly.
Together, we'll set goals for your therapy and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

I use a holistic approach, including somatic interventions, to help you process the effects of coercive control and abuse. I’m trained in various therapeutic modalities and draw from:
-
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
-
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
-
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Narrative Therapy
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I offer a nurturing space where you will feel both understood and empowered to reclaim your sense of self.

Clinical Experience
With over 20 years of experience in addiction and mental health, I have worked across a wide range of settings, including community, outpatient mental health, crisis intervention, forensic mental health, developmental disabilities, and leadership roles.
My practice specializes in trauma recovery, with a particular focus on survivors of coercive control, narcissistic abuse, and domestic violence.
I hold a Coercive Control Trauma-Informed Clinician Certification earned through training with Dr. Christine Cocchiola, a leading expert in the field.
